Most of our projects are photographed when the dust has settled. This page shows one mid-flight: a full structural restoration of a Victorian terrace, currently on site beneath a fully scaffolded temporary roof that keeps the house weather-tight while we work.
The structural phase is well underway. Decayed timbers are being cut out and replaced, new steelwork is going in to carry the reconfigured spaces above, and where the original fabric had failed, walls have been stripped back to brick and lath ready for repair. The staircase is being rebuilt, and new traditional box-sash windows are already installed at the front.
From here the project moves into first-fix services, plastering and the period detailing that brings a house like this back to life. We'll update this page as the work completes — it's a good honest look at what a full restoration involves before the beautiful photographs happen.
